Creating Pokemon
Press + on an empty slot:

The generate wizard
Step 1: who. Pick the species. Search, filter by type and generation (L / R), and see the Pokédex entry on the second screen.
Step 2: how. Everything is optional. Leave a field on auto and the legalizer chooses a value that keeps the Pokemon legal.
Generate. PKForge runs the Auto Legality Mod on the device (no internet needed) and places the result in the slot, owned by you:
Tip
By default a generated Pokemon is owned by the open save's trainer. Settings > Misc > Generated Pokemon obey trainer: OFF lets Auto Legality use its own trainer data instead.
More ways to fill boxes
From X (Storage tools):
- Import Showdown team: paste a whole team; each set is previewed with its legality before you place it.
- Generate Living Dex: one of every species into empty slots.
- Egg factory: one egg of every species, or eggs of a species you pick.
