These are the APK’s declared requirements. A second screen is optional.
Install the APK
- Download the APK on your Android device and open it.
- If Android asks, allow your browser or file manager to install this app, then confirm installation.
- Open PKForge. Link your emulator’s save folder or open a single save file.
No root access is needed. You still choose which files or folders PKForge can access through Android’s picker. Follow Quick Start for your first edit.
The APK includes the sprites needed to begin. The separate sprite pack offered inside the app is optional.
Update an existing installation
Install the newer APK over the existing PKForge app. This keeps your linked folders, Bank and restore points.
Before uninstalling: export your Bank to a folder of .pk files. Uninstalling deletes the Bank, settings and restore points stored inside PKForge. See Bank backups.

- The Living Dex has an “every form” view, with improvements to Luminescent Platinum forms and items.
- Friendship editing and fixes for held items, touch controls and dual-screen behavior are included.
